I really Dug that crazy scene man.. This is a FUN watch and the rare hipster Beat music was a bonus treat.
Edward Platt('Chief' from "Get Smart"). as Mr. Tucker is way out there man.
This film seems to be posted in at least 3 places here on IA?

My dad often told me I'd end up a "goddamned beatnik"..I guess he saw beatniks in a different light and he listened to jazz a lot.. LOL

Subject: About 30 minutes too long.
This movie moves VERY slowly. The "beatnik" part is only in the first part of the movie.

It is okay, but not a "rebel" movie at all. Just a cops and robbers mish mash.
